We have just experienced an unplanned power outage through the Hamilton city area. Power was out for only 10 seconds. All services are on an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS), however, we suspect the UPS did not register the power outage, and therefore did not switch to batteries. The result is all customers experienced a brief internet outage while everything restarted. Approximate downtime was 4-6 minutes. Apologies for the inconvenience; we will rectify our exposure with new UPSs immediately. Everything has returned to normal operations now.

New batteries have been installed over night, and more batteries are getting purchased today, and installed over the weekend.
